Calli Whitewall® tires are custom-manufactured specialty products made to order. This page explains how our whitewalls are made, what they look like, and what they are not—so you can make an informed decision before purchasing.
IMPORTANT PRODUCT DISCLOSURE — PLEASE READ
By design, Calli Whitewall® tires feature a raised whitewall composed of real white rubber that is vulcanized to the sidewall of a new modern radial tire. The whitewall is cosmetic only and is not molded into the tire casing.
A visible edge and a small black gap between the wheel and the start of the whitewall are normal design characteristics of this product and do not constitute a defect, damage, or separation.
DESIGN CHARACTERISTICS VS. DEFECTS
The following characteristics are intentional design features and are not manufacturing defects:
- Raised whitewall profile
- Visible whitewall edge
- Small black gap between the rim and whitewall
- Minor cosmetic variation in appearance
These characteristics do not affect safety, performance, or structural integrity of the tire.
NOT A MOLD-IN OR VINTAGE REPRODUCTION
Calli Whitewall® tires are not:
- Molded-in whitewall tires
- Bias-ply tires
- Period-correct reproductions
- Seamless or flush-edged whitewalls
Customers seeking molded-in or bias-ply whitewall tires should not purchase this product.
COSMETIC TOLERANCES
Because each tire is custom finished, cosmetic variation is inherent to the manufacturing process.
Whitewall width is subject to a tolerance of ±1/8 inch, which is within acceptable standards for custom-manufactured products.
CARE, INSTALLATION & WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
The following conditions are not manufacturing defects and are not covered under warranty:
- Use of bleach or harsh cleaning chemicals
- Grinding, sanding, trimming, or contouring the whitewall
- Cosmetic damage caused during mounting or installation
- Damage resulting from road hazards or improper use
Improper handling, modification, or cleaning may permanently damage the whitewall.
CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT & INFORMED CONSENT
Customers are responsible for reviewing all product descriptions, images, and disclosures prior to purchase.
By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:
- The product features a raised whitewall design
- The whitewall is not molded into the tire
- Visible edges and cosmetic variation are normal and expected
- The product received matches the description provided prior to purchase
